Panagia Stazousa

Located along the Klavdia - Pyrga loose surfaced road, the Medieval monastery of Panagia Stazousa was built by the Franks at the beginning of the 14th century in the early Gothic architectural style. It is believed that the water from the nearby spring has healing properties. Today, the monastery is serviced by the monks of Stavrovouni Monastery.
