This magnificent settlement can be found about 35 kilometres from the main city, just off the Larnaka – Lemesos highway (Tel. 24322710), Protected in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list, the Neolithic settlement was found in a surprisingly good state of preservation.
The site articulates the history of the Neolithic period in Cyprus, providing explanations of how Neolithic culture spread throughout the region. The site also exhibits five dwellings that have been reconstructed following the Neolithic construction model, using the same methods and traditional materials and furnished with objects actually found inside the houses during the excavations, giving an accurate impression of the village as it was in its time.
